Uhf Vhf how do i know if a TV channel is UHF or VHF? I am looking at tv antenna and have no luck with indoor antennas so now looking at outdoor antennas. i found one but it is only UHF and HDTV....

This is particularly beneficial if you are using hand held devices.
To keep this in perspective, if you are operating your radio around many obstructions, and you are not on a tight budget, then you will want to consider using UHF. If you are using your radio in wide open spaces or over long distances, and your funds are limited, then you should consider a VHF radio. Both types of radios will work fine over short distances, and can be used as hand held devices.
