Can anyone reccommend a good book to learn how to drive a semi truck (with trailer)? I am looking to get my truck driving license and need a good book to help me. I already have the book entitled "Bumper to Bumper" so if there is anything else out there I would love to know. You can get the book from the DMV to learn about the rules & regulations and what you need to know to pass the tests, but as far as driving, it would be a good start (if you know someone) to go ride with someone else, and just observe. You'll never learn to drive one from a book. Driving school would be a good option. I got my training years ago, and didn't have to go to school, but it's hard to do that now. Make sure you really want to pursue this! Talk to some drivers, and see what they think of the career.
