I need to find the bolts that tighten my alternator belt on my 1996 Isuzu Rodeo. Can some one help?
My belts squeal so I went to tighten them yesterday and found that the bolts are gone. It looks like it broke off. I all three of them, the adjuster, the pivot bolt, and the lock bolt. I called around everywhere; dealerships, part stores, and looked on the internet. No one sells this anymore. It seems odd that I can find a screw and bolt for what used to be such a popular vehicle. Can anyone help me locate this part?
What i would do go to some local Auto Wrecking yards. Its best to go down in person, since i've found that sometimes they'll say they dont have one in the yard when they actually do.
I would also figure out why they would just "break off" that isnt something that should normally happen.
If that doesnt work type of isuzu rodeo forums in a yahoo or google search and see what comes up. I'm sure someone out there will have something for you.
