i own a 88 mustang lx coupe 4 cylinder i change the motor,i put a 86 gt motor but now engn harness wont plug. so i need to know if the wiring in the 86gt is differnt from the 88 mustang lx coupe. the motor is on my car alreday just having trouble wiring the dash harness from the 4 cylinder mustang to the 86 gt motor i put on. WHAT DO I HAVE TO CHANGE OR WHAT DO I NEED TO BUY Those harnesses are DEFINITELY different. You need to get a wiring harness from an 86 Mustang GT.
