Jon Boat Plans - Choosing The Right Boat Plan
Building a boat with a jon boat plan should be a breeze if you have the suitable and clear cut plan in hand. I can never stress enough the importance of having a boat plan beforehand. This is the first step and one of the most critical factors that determine the outcome of a project.
Planning, budgeting and the building process itself all hinges on the boat plans you have. Same is true with jon boats as with any other type of boats you may plan on building.
Therefore, to get the best out of a jon boat plan. you may want to ask some pointed questions to choose the most suitable boat plans for you. Some of the questions you may raise are:
* What is the size of the jon boat you are planning to build?
In most cases, a bigger jon boat doesn't necessarily mean a more difficult building process, although this would affect the cost of materials and of course, you'd need to choose a jon boat that's scalable to the exact size of the boat you are planning to build.
* What are the materials you are considering to build your jon boat with?
