I connected a Internet hub to my system and now I keep loosing my Internet connection. Any suggestions ???
I had a router but my wife and I liked to play poker on the same web site at the same time and the computer store said we should get a Internet hub since then I get bounced without warning. I have DSL. I am not sure how to go about troubleshooting this problem. Everything was working great before adding this hub to my system.I needed two ISP’s so we could play together on-line. Any suggestions on how I should check this out to find the problem???
It could well be that you have connected a hub (not router) to your internet connection. If you are sharing a cable modem or adsl modem into your hub it wont usually work, you need to have a router that acts as a gateway for your home network.
