Easy light exercises for a lazy person to boost general health?
Ok I was fit 4 years ago but now my fitness borders zero. I have a deep rooted hate for exersice in all its forms (exept music practise).
So now I pass my days playing guitar or pc.
I realize that I will need to gain fitness because I am still 17 years old.
Can anyone please give me fitness advice that I can use in my home to help my arms legs and abs and HEART!!!!
Small exersices, I tried jogging but cant stand it, get bored of running around with nothing too do. Not gonna gim or join a sport team either. Lol please anything else?
O yea I am not overweight! maybe even underweight
Ha why would I want to bodybuild? I am trying to help my health to live longer.
Yea dance class goodish idea, ill try headbanging 30 minutes a day?
For starters, it's so great that you're doing this out of an awareness of your health, not just your appearance. Very few 17-year-olds (or adults for that matter) have that much maturity, so bravo!
If you enjoy music, then take a class rooted in music; a dance class or a fitness class based on dance. You can take anything from ballet to tap to hip hop and get a great workout at a dance studio. At gyms, you can find classes such as Zumba (Latin dance + hip hop) for cardio or Pilates (ballet stretching and lots of abs work) for strength. If you're nervous about it, get a friend or family member to try it with you. You'll feel much less self-conscious while you're laughing at yourselves together.
At many gyms and dance studios, you can drop into classes you want to take (as opposed to taking a class at the same time every week with a start and end date), and you pay by the class. That means you don't necessarily have to join the gym to take their classes, or, if you just don't like the class, you can stop going to that one and try another.
(I happen to share your opinion of jogging and team sports, and this has worked very well for me)
