My boss would like me to design a chart that describes the digital photo of new equipment we have, what? software program can i use to do this? I need to transfer the digital photo over to something like microsoft word so I can describe what this picture is. And are there any free programs out there I can use? I have Windows Vista and it didn't come with any microsoft programs like word, power point or excel any ideas will be appreciated thanks! Ok all I have to do is transfer the digital photos from the digital camera onto an editing format where I can tell everybody what this digital picture is. My job just bought some new equipment and nobody knows what it is so its my job to let them know. I really don't understand what you're trying to do, so it's hard for me to recommend appropriate software. If you can post more details, I may be able to help. EDIT: So you just need captioned pictures? If that's the case, then get OpenOffice ( http://www.openoffice.org ). It's an office suite that does everything MS Office does, but it's free.
