what is an easy spanish art or craft i can show to my class as a teacher?
need a simply made craft for fun and only has very minimal steps for kinder gardeners
I"m not sure what your objective/goal is here - teach something about Spanish culture or do an art lesson? Or both?
Flowers are predominant in Spanish countries like Spain, Mexico, Puerto Rico -
Prepare a lesson in flowers, petals and flower 'centers' where the bees go. This could be a great lesson in science. Show students real or pictures of large flowers like sunflowers. Show students where the seeds are formed in the flower. Ask them why there are different colored flowers? (bees can see them better) - also, like people, there are many different kinds of flowers in the world. (hitting a lot of objectives here - but you can put those in your lesson plan)
Show photos of Spanish cities where color and flowers are predominant. Some of your students may even be Hispanic. Great! Learn the name for flower in Spanish and say it when you point to the "flores." You can even do the colors in Spanish (I had kindergartners who taught ME the colors in Spanish!)
Teacher prep: Cut out circles 6" or so. Not too much larger. Show students the circle and how they can make another circle in the center where the seeds are, with their crayon/marker - and then color in the petals. Use paint if you can, or use markers. (I prefer paint - it covers more territory, but it also covers more of the kid!)
You know best how your classroom works here, so this is just a very very sketchy lesson for you. YOu could follow up with a book about flowers (a reading objective!) - Review with the children where the seeds are in the flower, the name of the colored part of the flower (you could add a stem and leaves too - means a gluing thing in addition)
As you can see, this can get very complicated quite easily. But you can also keep it as simple as you want. I like all the objectives that you can put into this - the Hispanic culture, the language, the science lesson about bees, seeds and flower parts, the use of color, the use of paint, the skill of gluing. Don't forget these art objectives too!
Good luck. This could be a fun project! If You are having fun, the kids are having fun too.

Selling Crafts Online
If you are not selling your crafts online then you are missing out on sales. Now before I go any further let me dispel the myth “If I open up an online shop they will come”. Nope, this is absolutely not the case. Opening up an online shop on Etsy.com or Artfire.com is just the first step. The next step is marketing your online shop and attracting shoppers.
If you are new to selling crafts online let alone marketing crafts online then you might find yourself in over your head. Well opening up an online shop on Etsy.com and Artfire.com is very easy and each site has tons and tons of helpful blogs and articles about how add your handmade creations to your store. So to learn more about selling on Etsy.com or selling Artfire.com visit each site.
After you have opened up your shop and all of your craft photos are nice and pretty your craft descriptions are accurate and compelling, it is time to get started with an online marketing campaign. I strongly recommend starting with the basics of online marketing i.e. blogging, banner advertising on project wonderful, article writing, social networking etc.
Now if you are feeling overwhelmed with online marketing there is a solution, virtual craft shows, like HandmadeCraftShow.com. Virtual craft shows are very similar to regular craft shows with a few differences, one being the fee to participate. HandmadeCraftShow.com offers handmade artists a chance to display their crafts without breaking their online marketing budget.
HandmadeCraftShow.com's team of online marketing experts promotes handmade artists all around the web i.e. facebook.com, twitter.com, classified ads, google.com and more. If you need traffic to your online craft shop then I recommend you give them a try.
