what is the deal with automakers trying to fade out manual transmissions?
im a die hard fan of the manual transmissions and i hear automakers are trying to fade them out, with all the semi truck drivers on the road i dont see it happing and if ford,gm,chrysler do fade them out they will certenly lose alot of busniss to forgen companys, come on get ur head out of ur but.and another thing i c bill ford dumb but on tv all the time talking about hybreads that get like 32 miles per gallon,,,come on give me a break already,,,lets look at volks wagon they have had a 1.9 turbo diesel out for years and it gets like 50 miles per gallon highway and that ant even a highbread, now i read some 8 years ago that caterpiller had come up withe a bio diesel fule that was 90%water but was having a problem with it freezing during the winter monthes like 32 degrese, what happoned to that???any big wigs at any auto manifactures i would love to hear from you, every one else welcome to ,let me no what u think!!!...
there's probably not much demand for them, i mean even sports cars come with automatics, what a waste, huh? people are too lazy to shift, besides most people don't know how to drive a car to its fullest, they just want to look good sitting in it
